After watching tons of pencil tests and examining disney clips frame by frame I decided to go back to rough animation I started last month or earlier, and cleaned it up. I think that's the first inbetweened flash I enjoyed in years.
I noticed I messed up with shoulders' consistency. Oh well, next time.
Annnnnd watching this just made it click in my brain the anatomy problem I was having in trying to draw a dragon character of a specific race/ethnicity in one of my head worlds.
Hooray for awesome Az animations and completely unrelated epiphanies!
Very good job! Anticipation frames, overshoots, and mostly smooth inbetweens. I didn't notice the shoulders until you pointed them out in the description, but even then, the composition lends itself to hide those minor flaws, seeing as how the focal point is on the face and not the shoulders.
What kind of voice does this character have? Deep and resounding, mid-ranged and average, or a higher-pitched voice? On a scale of 1 (Michael Clarke Duncan/James Earl Jones) to 10 (Mark Hamill/Greg Cipes). I'm curious as to what kind of character this is.
