Your creature is amazing. The lack of visible eyes can be completely overlooked (the Xenomorph/Internecivus Raptus is among those eyeless bad-boy/girl creatures too), given its armored hide, the arms(?) that at the very least are shields and spikes even if they're not pincers, and giving it an otherwise potentially fast frame to propel it, I can see why you say its a mix of a battering ram and a shield.

Oh, I see them now. I saw the 'nose hole' in the forehead and assumed that above that is where the eyes would be (like a human skull, of sorts). Thanks for clearing that up for me. Smaller eyes hidden by ridges makes more sense than big eyes, or no eyes.

Makes me think of a blend of an anklyosaur, a pangolin and a scorpion.

I have to agree. Initially, I was thinking scorpion and a type of cat, but after remembering the anklyosaur and checking out the pangolin, those two and the scorpion are a good list of hosts for this creature's conception.
