Seems like :iconbethanyangelstar: would like to know some juicy facts about my life ;P So I shall have to answer some questions, as well as list some facts about myself. Hope I can come up with something interesting, so let's try and do this thing.

First the rules:

01) You must post these rules.
02) Each person has to share 10 things about them.
03) Answer the 10 questions asked to you and invent 10 questions the people you tag will have to answer.
04) Choose 10 people and put their icons on your journal.
05) Go to their page to inform them they are tagged.
06) Not something like "you are tagged if you read that."
07) You have to legitimately tag 10 people.
08) No tag-backs.
09) You can't say that you don't do tags.
10) YOU MUST MAKE A JOURNAL ENTRY. NO COMMENTS. Unless you're commenting about the actual entry.

10 facts about me:

1. I've drawn since I was 3 or so.
2. I have troubles with painting traditionally. I never got to practice enough.
3. I finished art college in Media Arts and Animation major.
4. I am writing a story based in my headworld. Main book is on hold and I am in editing stages of the prequel.
5. I love space documentaries. Space fascinates me.
6. I have lived in 3 countries so far.
7. I would love to learn to compose music.
8. Hard surfaces frustrate me as far as drawing goes.
9. I'm about to move in to my own place for the first time.
10. I've had one professional level job so far.

1.) What is the most inspirational song for you that reminds you of your characters/story?

That's a tricky one, there are a lot of those as there are a lot of characters. But for the initial feel of the characters from my prequel I chose Messiah by City of the Fallen (trailer music sort). Has enough of an uneasy feel about it.

2.) What movie do you love the most and would watch over and over?

Lord of the Rings.

3.) Kids one day?
1 or 2

4.) What's your religion/take on life? (no judgement)

I'm not overly religious, but I like to think there's something out there bigger than us that we don't know. Not necessarily God, or a particular being, but another state of being perhaps. I guess I'm just keeping an open mind.

5.) What three words would you describe your childhood?
Freedom, active, fun

6.) Batman v/s Superman: who wins and WHY?
Superman. Because bullets bounce from him, that's WHY  ; P

7.) Food Network or Discovery Channel? Which one and why?
Discovery, and all other nature channels.

8.) Which is your favourite Mythbuster?
They both have their pros. Hard to pick.

9.) What more important in a character? Looks or personality?
If you're drawing them, then looks is the first thing that attracts people. If writing, you better have a really good personality developed. But, mix them together and you're golden ;P

10.) Can you tell I'm struggling with the questions?
Maybe a liiittle.

-------------

Alright so I guess now it's my turn to think of some questions.

1. How long have you been drawing?
2. Have you worked/work in the industry?
3. Do you have any WIP or existing stories including your characters?
4. Can you show me your first OC?
5. Is art your profession or a hobby?
6. You invent a human/humanoid couple. Which one is the male which one is the female? (If you have existing one, what is it?)
7. If I asked you to draw any fanart right now, what would you draw?
8. What sort of environment inspires you most?
9. What animal inspires you most? (Anatomically for example)
10. What's the most challending piece of art you've done?

I shall tag

:iconkodama-sama: :iconbeastofoblivion: :icongreekceltic: :iconirisdesert: :icondemonml: :iconashascadence: :iconhagon: :iconshinerai: :iconteggy: :iconsardiryx:

I don't know how everyone is about tags, but if you don't want to do it I won't hold it against you.

Thanks

WELL, I do have a few questions! :)

1.) What is your ultimate goal as an artist/writer? Comics? Books? Animation?

2.) What strives you to put the best quality you can into your work instead of taking shortcuts like some animators?

3.) Do you get nervous when you talk to artists you look up to?

4.) What is your real life like? (just basics like, I got to work, I care for my kids, I play video games, etc.)

5.) Are you happy with your level of work with your art? Or are you constantly trying to learn new things?

((I have more, but I can't think of them at the moment! :) ))

1. I'd love to work in game/movie industry as a concept artist. Or make and sell my own games with a group of friends. As a writer, well, I'd love to publish my books, maybe some world artbooks later on.

2. If this is a question solely about animation, then I have to say I just hate doing motiontweens. Or 2d skeleton driven drawings. Frame by frame is where it's at. Even if it's harder, it's more rewarding to make something as close to disney level animation as possible. See the character as alive as possible.

3. I don't think I do. We're all people. Although big artists may just not have enough time to mingle, so you simply have to remember it's most of the time not about you if you don't get a reply.

4. Real life... Lot of drawing, gaming, world building, trying to find a serious biz job.

5. Artists are NEVER happy with their work :P They improve till the day they die.
