One other thing I wanted to offer is a fight picture between your two critters (or your and your friend's if you wanted to split the price). Here's an example.

4. what sort of commission you'd like, so I can tell you the final price (depending on complexity)
or if you don't have the reference, send a written description (I ask for a couple bucks more for having to work without visual template, though not much)
5. if there are any sort of emotions you'd like me to convey in your character also let me know
